will 285 75 17 size nitto trail graps fit my stock fx4 2002 rims, basically 34's

 

They'll fit, but you'll probably have some rubbing if you haven't cranked the torsion bars yet or added some amount of small lift. See my sig for more info.

 

I've got the terra grapplers on some stock FX4 wheels-285/75-17 on my 2002 and no rubbing with a slight torsion bar crank. when the wheels turn, they have about a 1" clearance from the lower valance.
And the tags that came with the terra grapplers specified they will fit a 7.5" wide rim, at a minimum.
By the way, I friggin love the 285/75-17 tire on the 2002-2003 FX4 wheels
