Engine bolt up

I am planning on dropping a 2000 5.4L supercharged lightning motor into my 2000 F-150 XL that has a stock 5.4L in it currently. My question is will the motor bolt up to my stock 4wd transmission? Will I have to make any modifications to the driveshaft? If anyone has any info I would appreciate it. Thanks

No problem.

Might have to rebuild that trans soon. Depends how much fun you have.

You'll need a custom tune, - if you want the engine to run.

That's about it.

Yea , you need to modify your engine harness as well. Not that difficult tho.

There's a reason the L came with a 4R100 - it will bolt to your 4R70W, but it may not last, be prepared to get it built and beefed. That's easier than a 4R100 swap.
