01 lariat scab ( or mine anyhow)has 4 diffent types of belts front passager buckle no longer holds lock .. not been able to find 1 anywhere in kentucky,indiana or ohio salvage lots.. dealer price is 167.00...Need 1 but not at the dealer price if i can help it...

 

01 is the year where they made a mid-year seat change. The early 01 Scabs had the seat belt style that hung from the ceiling (same as the 99-00), then in mid-01 they built the seat belts into the seat itself. Some of the buckles had 'pre-tensioners' built in as part of the Airbag system. You should have no problems finding either style in the salvage yard.

 

i been through 28 salvage yards here not 1 has a truck with type i need.. the seat straps like you said are built into seat buckle to front main seats are bolted to seat frame not to floor..which is what every one i've talked to has..

 

28 salvage yards!! Wow, that's strange that none of them have one... Have you tried E-Bay Motors?
