I Can't find tires in metric that size for 17's. But what will I have to do to fit around that size stock? on stock rims?

I have 33s on my truck with 17x9s but I don't know if they are 33x12.50. Is your truck 4x4?

Yes it is 4x4 My sig didn't show up. If all I have to do is crank the T-bars a little i can do that. Just dont have extra cash for wheels right now but need tires very soon. Tire's will be BFG AT's or Nitto trail grapplers. An all terrain tire

You need 305/70's or something like that.

Idk about other models, but my 03 FX4 fits 305 70 17's with no t bar crank and factory suspension.

And actually, some brands of 305's are higher than 33's. My Mtr's are right at 34inches. However, they are only about 12.25" inches wide.

Yeah, I don't know about stock rims. I have aftermarket rims and had to crank my bars up just a bit.

305 is not the height of the tire, but more of the width. The second number is the "aspect ratio/side profile" the ratio of sidewall height to section width. To get the actual sidewall height you have to multiply section width by sidewall height and that is the height of one sidewall.

305mm x .65= 198.25
converted
12.007 x .65= 7.8"
7.8x2=15.6+17= 32.6"

So that tire is about a 32.6x12x17

But your right, some brands differ.

305/70 is 32.8/12 Closest I can get I think. Sounds good to me. Bigger tires.

Edit:
this is close
315/65/17 = 33.1x12.4/17

I don't like body lift's. My plans do include a 4-5 inch suspension lift though.

I have 33x12.50x17 MT MTZ's on my 97 with only the T-bars cranked. No rubbing at all.
