4.2 Engine Swap Question
4.2 Engine Swap Question
My 1997 F150 died with only 110,000 on the clock. Rod knock. Thanks to websites like this I was able to change intake gaskets to avoid the dreaded hydrolock. None the less, after much babying and constant PM care, the sucker rewards me with this.
Anyway, I found a low mileage 2000 4.2. Should be a straight swap....right? I understand that 2000 is the last year before the changes made in the "newer" series 4.2. If anyone knows, let me know. Thanks!!!!
