door glass removal, screws or rivets
door glass removal, screws or rivets
I had planned to stop by a local pull-a-part today after work to get a drivers door glass for my 2001 s-crew. I will take my small work tool bag because I know how easy it is to remove the door panel, and had assumed that the glass would be attached to the regulator with a small fastener. However, I now read that some are riveted in, or at least the channel is reveted in that I'll have to move to remove the glass.
Can anyone tell me if I'll be able to remove the door glass with hand tools, or if I need to have a cordless drill on hand to deal with rivets? I don't want to drive there and not be prepared, and I don't have a drill at work.
Thanks,
