rear tires getting very choppy

Just wondering why both my rear tires are getting choppy. Worse by the day since i put on the suspension lift. Any ideas why? The fronts are wearing perfect. Thanks.

Doesn't sound right to me. Is the rear lined up straight and tracking even?

The suspension lift probably made the rear a bit stiffer and my guess is you run your truck empty.

Did you put new shocks on with the lift?

If the shocks are adjustable, try putting them on a softer setting, or maybe drop your rear tire pressure just a tad.

If you watch the bed/tailgate in the rear view mirror I would be willing to bet you will see more bounce since the lift.

The rear end is horribly stiff. You can watch it bounce like crazy. I am running the springtech shocks that came with the lift so there non adjustable. And i also had the aligment shop check the rear end to make sure it was square. Bad part is the damage is already done to the tires. Good thing i only paid 200 bucks for em off of craigs list! Lol

Put some weight in the bed and see if that helps.

What is happening is the rear tires are skipping down the road because the suspension is too stiff.

BTW what was used to lift the rear? If it was those new shocks only then something is wrong.

Yea, try a little weight in the bed to see if it smooths out for ya. If you don't get it figured out, then it will do the same to the new tires when you get some.

Do you think trying a better set of shocks might help too?

Maybe. The only thing you changed on it was the blocks and the shocks. Maybe one or both of them are bound up (stuck/bent).

Your lift kit was for a 150 and not a 3/4 or 1-ton? (that would make the shocks stiffer)

they came with the 1/2 ton kit but they were very low quality. I checked the blocks and every thing seemed to be fine. I just ordered a set of bilstiens for the back. I also took off the spare tire and brackets and the reese hitch so the backend is very light right now. I'm gonna try the shocks and go from there. I really appricate all the advice guys!

From what I've heard, those shocks are horrible.
