Differential Difficulty

So boys and girls, here's what I got...

99 Ford F-150; 5.4L V8; 4x4; 3.55 Gearing

I gotta rebuild the front differential myself (or attempting to). I have the rebuild kit coming from advance auto parts since i work there. does any body have any advice or can somebody forward me a technical article on how to do so? any advice is welcome.

i had some flopping in the winter when it was cold because my bearings on the driver side of the differential froze up and the CV axle would flop around instead of actually spin. now i got the new diff from a salvage yard and plan to rebuild it and install it myself.

Hopefully you will be lucky and your front gears will just pop right out.

They aren't pressed in. mine popped right out but another member on here couldn't get his out so he had to take his to a shop to get the carrier out.
