lowering where to measure

lowering where to measure

Ok so I buy lowering shackles because my n04 heritage looks like it has a droopy nose.....But when i measure from the tire rim to underside of fender its only 1.5" or so out of level.....But if I put a level on the rockers its well over 2"....dunno which way to go...

The height from the wheel to the ground is going to be the same....

I think he meant fender lip to the ground.

If you have two sets of holes on the shackle use the one that's closer to the pivot point, that should give you 1.5" drop
