I have a 1997 F150 4x4 that came stock with 17" rims. I am looking at a set of 16" rims to buy because the tires are a little more resonable on price. My question is will a 16" rim fit on this truck or not. I was told that 16" and above would fit. But before I buying them I would like the input. The rims are used so I don't want to buy them and them not fit. Thanks in advance Zack

 

16" rims will fit on your 97

 

Yeah they will fit, I went down from 17's to 16's on mine

 

Thanks I figured they would but better safe than sorry.I hate having to special order tires in 17".
