Tire question.

I have an 03 Heritage, lifted 4 inches.

Would 315/70R17 fit properly and not rub. I know the 315 is around 34.3 inches tall and 12.4 inches wide. I doubt it would work with how wide the tire is for the stock wheel. What size tire do you think I should go with I want to get 35s but not sure what size would work on the stock 17" heritage wheels.

Yes it would work with stock rims, torsions turned up and valance trimmed. But it would still rub on the frame at full lock.

It'll work, they'll just look a little balooned. I'm assuming your 4x4?

I think the 315's will look good. The 305 will be about half an inch shorter but an inch wider than your current tires. The 315's have basically the same width as a 305, just 2" taller. If it were me id go with a 315, or if you can find a 295/75/16 its good medium between the two.

Sorry, I forgot you were 17's. Either way, the 315's and 305's are going to be the same width so you might as well go with the taller tire since you can clear them. There might be some slight rubbing at full turns since you have stock wheels, but nothing too much.
