sct 3015 for adjusting tire size question for 97-03 trucks

About to order the sct sf3 for tire size adjustment (and future mods) but wanted to know if anyone here could give me some feedback that has done this on the 97-03s? Is it going to be as simple as select tire size or am I going to have to get further into it for shifts for the tranny to prevent hard shifts etc? I really need it to be as simple as possible. Dont want to order this and try it, truck not feel right then go back to stock because I am not comfortable with what I'm doing and just have it collecting dust.

I had mine done at Ford for $45. Could always do that if you didn't want to buy the sct just for changing the tire size.

So a Ford dealer can do this? Seriously didn't know, thanks for that info. I plan on regearing to in the near future, intake and eventually will be on 35s if possible which is kind of why I was leaning towards purchasing one. I have a guy that can run a sniper bullet on it for $350 but his wait time is crazy as far as appts go and my transmission is already under stress.

Ford can only reflash for factory-optional tire sizes and gears.

I went up to a 265 from the stock 235 so it was off just enough to annoy me. I finally just had it done back in June.
