would you buy a truck with 200,000 miles

would you buy a truck with 200,000 miles

the reason why I ask is Ive been looking for a 01-03 screw 4x4. and I found one loaded with a 5.4 but it has 200,000 miles on it. that kinda worries me just thought id see what you guys thought. there asking 5000

Honestly, you just have to find out what the truck was used for. If they're all highway miles then it seems like a lot more miles than what the wear on the truck actually shows. Do you know any of the trucks history?

If the price is right... with 200k on a truck like that, in pristine condition I wouldnt pay more than 3-4k. That means no rust, only minor cosmetic blemishes but no major scratches, seat tears, broken parts etc..

Driving it and looking at it are the only way to really tell whether it is a good truck. I have seen trucks with 200k look and drive better than trucks with 100k

After personally seeing how fleet trucks are abused, I wouldn't even waste the time looking at it. Not even if it had 100k.

yea kinda what I thought to I will keep looking a 01 -03 swrew 4x4 isnt the easiast thing to find lol. either they have way to many miles ir there beat to heck.

not for that price. I would also want to know how often all the fluids have been changed.
