I didn't know they put the 4.6 in the 99+ 7700 trucks. I thought they were all 5.4's oops lol.

I ordered mine took me almost a year to get it because the dealer ordered the wrong bed, when it came in I went to pick it up and it was a style side and I ordered a flare side, so we had to wait until they cranked up the line again I was kind of pissed because by the time I got it the 01's were about to come out...

4.6l, 5speed, manual shifter for the t-case, limited slip rear end, my only regret is the gearing I chose I should have gone 4:10 or whatever the choice was since I immediately put taller tires on it, itreally only affects it in 2wd cuz in low lock the thing has a lot of torque...

Excuse me I've been talkin' out my @ss, after researchin' my truck further (you'd think I'd know what I ordered) what I thought I was getting when I ordered it turned out not to be the 7700 but just the freakin' tow package...Carry on fellas I'm just a moron LOL

My apologies

I'd still rather have a f250. A float float rear axle is worth it's weight imo.
