Been Awhile
Hey everyone, its been awhile since iv been on the forum. Had a lot of changes going on in my life and have had my attention elsewhere. Moved out of my parents into my own place, finally bought the dirtbike i was never allowed to have growing up haha. The bike became a big obsession, i focused all my time and money into making it bad *** and unfortunately my truck got put on the back burner as did my attendance on the forums lol. Poor truck has been neglected. but everything in my life is starting to become more routine and balance out a bit. Plus the f150 started throwing a fit and making noises to let me know it was time to put her back on the to-do list.
I started off by replacing the bald 35" BFG AT and the 16.5" centerline rimms. Damn 16.5 rimms. Come to find out nobody makes tires for them anymore as im sure a lot of you already know. So now im stuck with 4 giant paper weights in my garage. I would try to sell them but i would just be screwing someone else lol so it looks like they are worth their weight in scrap.
So here is the new set of tires. 17" Black ultras with nitto trail grapplers 35x12.5x17

I would absolutely recommend these tires to anybody. They ride nice, they are quite, and they can handle any terrain i throw at them. Iv done rock crawling, mudding, snow, desert, sand and highway and i have been very impressed.
Iv also started going thru all my drive-train had a lil squeak in the driveshaft. turned out to be a cap on my u joint rusted out so i replaced the u joints.
I changed the fluid in my front Diff. Damn thing was full of water, looked like choco milk lol. I am really hoping i didn't damage any components on that.
I had some binding in the rear end when i started to go from a stop. I replaced the fluid in the t-case with some mercon. That stopped the problem. I think it was the slipyoke binding on the spline due to the fluid in the t case breaking down.
And this weekend im spliting the rear diff and changing the fluid in that as well. Im pretty sure my rear diff needs a limited slip additive. Once i confirm this im thinking of using the BG additive. has anybody had any luck with this?
Well i figure ill stop talking now since im sure most of you have most likely haven't read this far into my rant hah! But its just good to be back and i just wanted to touch bases with everyone and let ya all know where im at. I look forward to talking with you guys again. Any input on the BG additive would also be appreciated.

Welcome back! You'd be surprised how many people out there are looking for 16.5's. Military take off tires are cheap as dirt and they are for 16.5's. The new 37" Goodyear mtr's they have are sweet! Put them up for sale on craigslist or something and they will definitely sell.

Thanks for the compliments guys
I just finished the rear diff. Inspected the gears and they look good to me. No particles or chunks in the bottom. Ground off the gasket material sealed her back up and topped it off with synthetic and BG LS 2 Friction Modifier. Should be good for another 100k
