how in the name of Ford ( ) do you remove the seat belt from this seat??


I have searched and searched Google.com , Youtube.com , Ask.com
EVERYWHERE and i can not figure it out!! any ideas??

can you pop the plastic cover off the top of it? if so i'm GUESSING there will be a bolt somewhere on the seat. that would be what i would try.

 

yea, but the Belt reel is down about 4 inches from the top of the seat and the support brackets are welded to the seat frame supports.

 

they aint retracting? cuz mine dont...

 

Doing a bench to bucket swap on a friends f150 and the seat bealts on the buckets are mounted the same but are bad, but the buckets have a plastic backing so taking the belt reel was easy

 

what year is it? Ive I've been wanting to change my bench seat out for bucket seats but can't seem to figure out a way to get the seat belt placement to work since the seat belt is located on the bench seat itself and I have the extended cab so I have no place to mount the seat belt when going to replace it bucket seats in it any suggestions
