ive got 4 cats on my truck and was thinking of dropping the last 2...but the thing is the o2 sensers go straight through the middle of the last 2 cats....sooooo im guessing(please tell me if im wrong) that if i cut em out, drill holes where existing cat was, bung it and weld er all back that i should be good? help me out please

 

Do you enjoy breathing? They serve a purpose, even if you don't like them. How's about getting high performance cats? Does your state smog vehicles? If they don't, they will soon...........

 

I have two high flow cats on my truck with the last 02 sensor bung drilled into the neck of the cat with no issues. As for placement in your situation Im not sure but I think I would move the bungs no more than 6 inches behind the first cat.

Ideally you want the bungs @ the 10 and 2 position but its worked so far.

 

i believe i have 4 2 off each mani. so i would like 2 delete the last 2 so we have ust front 2. so ill c whats up. but yeah that be the main idea. and PAN did u have er just welded in then bunged? thats what i was thinkin. and 10/2 postion. gotcha

 

Unfortunately welded to my LTs. I wish I had them band clamped in case I need to replace them, I really dont want to cut the headers. But ya either way it works.
