just wanted to get a comparison of all the different gear and tire combos we are running. list your
axle ratio, tire size, rpms, and a mph. all in OD of course

3.55's, 35" tires, 2,000rpms= 80mph
3.55's, 35" tires, 1,500rpms= 60mph
4.88's, 35" tires, 2,000rpms= 60mph
4.88's, 35" tires, 2,350rpms= 70mph

 

sounds like someone needs 4.56's.
2145 rpm's @ 70 in O.D.

 

Im running 1500 doin 60 in O.D. and 3.55s
2000@ 70

 

And tires are 265/70/17s hoping for 33s and 4.10s maybe 4.30s this summer

 

nope! just some 38's

 

running the same as you was with the 3.55 and 35's

 

33x12.5x17, 3:73LS,
60mph=1700rpm
70mph=2000rpm

 

I'm having about 1650 rpms @ 55 mph with the following:
285/75-17 nitto terra grapplers
4.10:1 differential gear ratio
4r70w in overdrive
same gears, different wheel combo-1800 rpm @55 with 265/70-16 michelins

 

I'm at 1900 rpms at 60 mph with 4.56 gears and 315-70 /17 Kumho road venture mt tires

 

i knew there wanst a huge difference between 4.56's and 4.88's.

 

stock 265/70/r17 3:55 gears, 5 speed, in OD at 80 i'm at 2500RPM

 

265/70-17s , 2000rpm @ 70 , 3.73ls

 

I was actualy pretty surprised to see that, i would have thoought at least 250 RPM difference. Though im thinking these kumhos are closer to 34 than 35, what brand tires were/are you running

 

i do believe im sittin at 2100 @ 65 with 3.55ls on 265/75/16's
