Body Lift... Yes or No?
Body Lift... Yes or No?
Hey guys I'm sure yall know my truck and if not the specs are in my sig, I was just wondering if yall think my truck would look good with a 3" body lift? That should set me at 10.5/8 (Oh and i still plan on raising the rear end another inch should I go AAL or shackle?) but anyways I was just wondering if it would look good or not.
and if the install of the body lift is making you nervouse dont worry, its much easier than most people make it sound. I did mine by myself in a weekend. Just make sure you have a grinder and new nuts for the bed bolts(i had to cut 4 of my 6) and follow the instructions, its a peice of cake.
x2!

Well the truck came from up north, it's only been in Florida for about 8 months.

So i say to you hun to be prepared for for a tough and very long and tedious at times type of project. Since you dont have much mechanical skill id say dont do it. And dont pay a shop to do it as they will charge an ridiculous amount. Unless you have know someone who is close to you whom will do it or help you that would be the best way.
No not at all.

33's most likely. And get a 3" body, the 2" ones don't relocate your bumpers.
i can make brackets to relocate. for the time being i'm gonna crank my t-bars and put 2 inch blocks under it. i dunno how to calculate tire height from the sidewall readings. but im gonna run mine until i need new ones then put the body lift on, rome wasn't built in a day, and my pocketbook wont allow a lot of major mods right away. Man i need to find a job this summer...
