Man that really sucks. Even with my truck being as rough as she is, if she were to get totaled, I would be pretty torn up about it.... Got some good memories with the old girl haha. But yes it seems like you are ok though and that is good to hear. How are you gonna make out insurance wise?

I dont know really how the insurance works but its gonna take 10-14 days for the insurance to get the police report.
I went to the ER so his company is gonna pay for that and they should pay out for my truck.
Then ill just get another truck i suppose.
Ill post pics today while im taking the good stuff out of it.

I was in a wreck 2 Saturdays ago and the lady that hit me had state farm they tried to total mine for 7.2k its. 98 f150 with 102k miles but I refused the offer and kept driving their rental car which is costing them about 117$ a day after 4 days the gave me another offer to fix it, so don't let them fast talk you man get their rental which by law your entitled to and never say yes or accept any money the first day they offer it you are correct tho in a 97 even if nothing but the air bag went off it would of been totalled but insurance company have great connections with car dealerships and can usually get you a great deal to find a replacement just stick to your guns and if they give you to much **** call your own insurance a explain everything and they will fight for you to keep you from filling on your own insurance

Glad you're alright. Don't go by off of what KBB says your truck is worth. They use retail value plus a bunch of other different variables. I had a big insurance claim last summer and was surprised when they said value on mine was about $6500, and mines a 97 that had about 185k at the time. If total damage is greater than half of their value, then odds are it will be totaled out.

What happened?
Liability sucks. I always carry full coverage.

Headlights still work... good to go
