Grey Wiring Harness?
underneath the steering column close to the diagnostic port there is a grey wiring harness that i dont have anything plugged into im just wondering what this is and if i forgot to plug it back in when i changed the heater core

It's for an electric brake controller and used for towing heavy trailers with electric brakes. You have to buy that yourself however....
All F150's from at least 1997 forward are wired for this, whether or not the truck comes with the factory tow package or not.
