New guy in town
Hello everyone. I am new here and will be purchasing a friends 99 150 4.6 soon and I have been reading the forums for the past couple weeks and finally decided to say hi.
So, Hi!
One thing I would like to ask from anyone that could do it is, Can you please post some pictures of your interior? like mainly the dash. I am trying to get some ideas of what I should do with it
I have already purchased lightning headlights, Sony double din, HID 6000k Bi, backup camera w/ nightvision, viper 5901 alarm / remote start
Thanks a lot fellas, When I purchase the truck I will post some pictures

Hey Red! yea would love to see yours, I am hoping I don't have too many problems installing it. I am trying to figure out where the reverse wire is located that I will have to be tapping into for the backup camera.

My back up camera is triggered by the reverse lights and the video feed runs up to the head unit.
this is the one i purchased: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i01_details
JPACK, that camera is just like the one I have but mine is a Boyo. IIRC, the wiring will be a positive, negative and reverse wire. I already had a power wire run for my Recon Light Bar (so it would light ALL the time), negative ground to a good frame connection and took out my left rear taillight housing. Tap into the positive wire for the reverse bulb. Then the video feed (yellow RCA connection) goes to the head unit. My Kenwood DVD has a setting for VID IN interrupt (which shows rear view ((when triggered by the reverse light coming on)) If you need more verification, I can pop out my head unit... it's just a little of a PITA to get the trim ring back on properly. Hope this helps
Here's pics of my interior. Nothing to special with the dash, yet. I have my Gryphon tuner/pod in the upper left corner and in the near future have some of my dash pieces hydrographed... sorta like Gator's... but in brushed aluminum :

I don't have many pics of the interior but I will get a few in a day or two. I ... like others ... installed a double din DVD player
