MJMoog34, thanks for the compliment, it is still a work in progress as all of our trucks are, no matter what anyone says, they are never done until we sell them for the next project.

01 gt f150, thanks for the advice, I love the look of your truck but I don't want to go that low. I just want to get it low enough so that a slightly larger set of tires on the stock rims will fill the wheel well better and get the truck level. When I first lowered it all I got was a front coil and rear spring shackle kit, I also had a set of Street Performance Shocks installed.

I have read a lot of posts and was leery of tackling the hangers, possible having to lower the gas tank to get to the driver's side hanger rivets is what gets me. Now though I might just do it to get it where I want it. How much do you think I'll get by removing the blocks? What is the difference between the stock leaf springs I have and the Lightning ones?

Thanks! The stock blocks should be 2 inch, that being said removing them would drop you 2 inches. Lightning Leafs would drop you between 1.5 and 2.5 depending on the truck. If you still have the blocks I would take them out and that should put you about where you wanna be judging by the pick of your truck, 2 inches would be about right.
