Question 1997 lariat to 2004 heritage?

hi yall u just found a 2004 heritage f150 with just over 200k on the 4.6 and has absolutely NO rust, i mean this beast is CLEAN! but the mileage is scary, i climbed under it and found no leaks or underbody rust. it also looks like the rear end has had the shocks replaced and has the heavy duty suspension. oh the kicker the guy only wants 3,700 for it... do i do it, or is it too good to be true?

200k isn't a whole lot for these trucks, but if yours is still in good shape with no real issues I don't think it would be worth the cost to upgrade.

mine has a head leak as well forgot to mention that, honestly having a 15 y/o truck that will cost me around 300 when the rear end goes, 1000 when the motor does, i will test drive that one and see what the deal is, its in WAY better body shape than mine...

just found out that the other one is down a cyl... the dealer has tried coil backs, and plugs, im betting it needs a valve job. the motor will need to be rebuilt or replaced.

If your gonna do an upgrade spend a little more money and get something decent. 200k is to much to risk..
