What shocks to go with?

I have a 2000 F-150 4x4 with a 5.4 and the original shocks, I know I know, but I was looking to replace them finally. I have my torsion bars cranked up front and was wondering what replacement shocks y'all have used and what worked well. Would I need to use different shocks up front than in the rear? Thank you in advance.

Bilstein. I have them on my Expedition, and G35. Also had them on my 98 F150, and put a set on my parents Explore. Good ride, and long life.

I have the procomp es9000. They work rather nicely. Wouldn't think twice about going with them again.

Bilsten on my truck. When I changed from the worn out stockers to the bilstiens the diference was huge. My only issue with them is there a little firm on the street. A little rough. But you get off road and they are fantastic shocks.

Ive got bilsteins on my Bronco 2 and like them a lot. In terms of the front end should I look into getting a shock thats rated for one or two inches of lift over my stockers since my t-bars are turned up?

I think with out an actual lift the regular shocks are good.

They only "travel" as far as the stock suspension allows.. It may be possible the shocks for a lifted truck could bottom out.. I'd go with what bilstein or who ever recomends.

yea but if the suspension "travels" more than the shock "travels" something could break, I NEED longer shocks in the front now because of that problem....

I was thinking maybe shocks with an extra 1" for up front and leave the two rear shocks at stock because nothing back there is altered. I don't think it would be a terrible idea but i definately wouldnt feel comfortable with 2-3" lift shocks.
