2002 f150 scab fx4 5.4l
my truck started vibrating badly while sitting at an idle in park and now when you try to put it in drive or reverse it lunges and shuts off. clueless here i tried cleaning the IAC but that wasn't it. any help is greatly appreciated

 

Yea, they do that when low on trans fluid.

 

They also do that when the torque converter clutch is stuck on.

 

Run good off idle? And at idle does it surge and or high idle?

 

i decided to have it towed. couldnt be stranded long enough to work on it but i really appreciate all of your input

 

Could be the vacuum line from the rear of the intake
