Upper control arms

....Has anyone used anything else other than Moog? I know moog is the best that I can find, but money is a little tight and i was wondering If I can get away with another brand..... I believe my uppers may be original, cuz there non greaseable....The bottoms must have been replaced at some point as they are greaseable. Truck had 84k on it when I got it, now it has 120k! Gotta show her some more love soon!

the only other ones i know of are Doetsch, but i think they are about the same price.

do you want to replace the whole arm or just the bushings and ball joint? cause moog and Daystar both have a complete master kit for our trucks

I'd love to just replace the upper joint and bushings, but you can't press the old factory ones out correct? I was under the impression that you have to get the whole arm for the uppers

Upper control arms are replaced as a complete unit. Been there, done that.

he needs the stock length sir boomafoo. Imo the duralast balljoints are just as good as moogs (lower ball joints) while the upper duralast are same as the stock ones. And they are cheap and readily available at auto zone

Do some research and you'll find whats available. Spend the extra money and they'll last longer. You can buy cheap pads, that'll wear down in 3 months or you can buy some good pads that cost 2x as much and last a year.. The same amount you'd spend after going through 2 sets of pads.
