Well, I don't know what the point of that reply was?? I most certainly was not hating or bagging on you installing a supercharger or lighting motor in your truck; quite the contrary! If anything, you could just about call me jealous...still doesn't make it a SVT.

After all, you were seeking opinions!

Hey man no point intended. I was just implying your opinion is your opinion. Not trying to start anything...

Sorry if it came off like I was.

I can understand Galaxy's post point (as did when first read it)... referring to putting Shelby anything on a GT. But then again... having a truly Lightning engine in an FX4... I would say SVT partially applies. Shelby's usually have a totally distinctive body style... like a Cobra. But hinting at the Lightning perspective (for those that even know what the SVT would mean) seems ok to me. Just my .02

Question is: are you putting in a truly Lightning engine... or just a supercharger set-up on an everyday FX4 engine? Clarification?? As I am thinking here... wouldn't the internals for a real Lightning engine be more solid than an everyday 5.4? Say... injectors,MAF,throttle body.pistons, rods and cams... what have you?

Lightning engine parts suck. That's why he's putting in a built motor. WAY better than a L engine.

what is the displacement of the the blower you are putting on? If it something like the 2.3s you could always put "Bad2pt3" that would keep people thinking s well

Well I decided to go with SVT FX4. Thanks for all the input!

The "L" swap will be at the house first week of Feb!!!! Can't wait to get it installed and tuned up. I will also do a write up like STR8T SIX did.

It will never be an svt vehicle regardless of what engine you have. It's a big deal with mustangs and cobras..if u don't want anyone bashing you or ur truck then I would stay clear front svt... I personally don't care but in the mustang forums it gets heated

I'm not trying to say I have a SVT...just hinting that it is supercharged with svt parts.

I am not really worried about people bashing or hating. They can hate all they want. At least I am not using a procharger or vortech and saying SVT FX4 haha. Not bashing on procharger or vortech. I had a procharger for the truck but decided to go with a L swap instead.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Putting SVT on a truck that is not original SVT is like those guys who buy old fastback mustang and put mach i emblems on them or a guy who buys a camaro and put z28 emblems on it.. I've seen some really nice clones but there still clones and once you figure it out it takes away from the nice car it is..
