so I got all my stuff today ready for the swap to 5 spd for my truck....I still have the worry of the driveshafts, and whether I need to get new ones, or the auto ones will work......anyone????? here are some pics of the stuff i got

 

the cab is the donor cab with all pedals and steering column and such, gonna get a new centerforce clutch, and of course, pilot bearing and more then likely a new line from the m/c to the slave......as for flywheel, do I have to worry about the engine being 8 bolt or 6 bolt? or is that just the 4.6......and which years fit? would a 4.2 flywheel work?

 

pretty sure your gonna need drive shafts never done it myself but I've read..

 

My truck has the 5 speed and the 4x4 on the floor like that too. Its also a 4.6. Im pretty sure 4.6 and 5.4 v8s are both 8 bolt
