Hi all!
My name is Mark. I bought a 1999 F150 Supercab XLT sport with the 4.6 V8 with a manual transmission. I like the truck a lot but there are some things that I need to fix on it. (cracked exhaust manifold, blower motor resistor and rear u-joint and pinion seal for the rear diff) Ive been trolling here for the past few months and got a lot of good information (Did the GOTTS mod already and put a cherry bomb glass pack in place of the factory muffler) I decided to join here because it seems like everyone here is really cool and has lots of good advice!
Cheers!

Welcome Mark
Under the glove box, the wiring harness for the blower motor has an extension harness that divides to feed the resistor and the blower separately. I thought my resistor went out... again... after putting in one 6 months earlier. Come to find out, the extension harness was melted so bad I am surprised it didn't catch fire.
Food For Thought

As for the manifolds... I dont know what to do. The studs are so rusted that they will probably snap even with lots of heat and PB blaster. I'm probably going to let a shop do it because I dont know if i want to tackle this by myself.
Oh yea and I'll try and get some pics of my truck today!
Sorry, no pictures of my truck today, Its covered in salt right now and sitting in my dads friends garage.
BUT my dads friend gave me this to try on my exhaust manifold http://www.amazon.com/Permatex-26346.../dp/B000ALBZMG
Anyone have any experience with this? I'm trying it to see if it can be a temporary fix for the time being.
