Console build

does anyone have any pics of a custom center console they built out if wood cause im thinking about making one tommrow the just cover the width of the tranny hump and the height of the seats. I need some ideas on what to do tommrow

thanks but i know how to make it i just wanted to see what some looked like before i did make it but ill probably go with something like in this truck but cut before the seat

Your just looking for something for the floor? Have you seen the expy consoles? you would need the bucket seats tho. If you could find one cheap or something u could cut it in half and just use the front part

well im in for DIRT cheap im using extra fence pickets as my material and im gonna sand it and carpet it so youll never be able to tell i used pickets, put im gonna cut a slot for my CB and make a dock for my iphone

You could also build a frame out of whatever materials you have, then fiberglass it in.

you think i could sand down the pickets and put some bondo on it sand it smooth and paint it

It's possible, but I still think areas such as the cupholders and docks will need to be reenforced with fiberglass.
