Right towing mirrors?

So I finished my lift on my truck today, ran into a few little problems here and there, but got some help from a member on this site.

Anyways, my truck still has those little xl trim mirrors on it and a big truck deserves big mirrors lol.

Are these the right ones? http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-98-99-00-...#ht_1036wt_936

The only issue I had was one of the little plastic pieces that covers the bolts on them fell off, but I'm pretty sure that was from folding them in and out everday from having to street park and not wanting some bad driver to take a mirror off. But other than that I've had no complaints besides the added wind resistance makes them shake a little more going down the highway than the stockers.

Wow, I love those mirrors. How bad is it giving up the power mirror adjustment switching to them, though? I'm the only one who will drive my truck, but some times things shift and it's nice to press a button to get it back where it needs to be.

Mine have actually never shifted enough for it to be noticable in the past almost year or so that I've had them. But then again my power adjustment never worked, so I didn't have to worry about giving it up haha.

Actually, you don't have to give up your power mirrors for these, as long as you are willing to pay a little extra. Mine are power and have amber lights on the outside which i have wired as running lights. total cost with shipping was about 250.

I had that happen once or twice on the passenger side for the same reason, but it really hasn't been a huge issue. the wind resistance is a little noticeable sound wise on the high way with no tunes on, but mine don't seem to shake any worse than the stockers they replaced.

If you get some time, I'd love a link. My F150 is primarily for towing, so having these mirrors would be a huge help. I'll see if I can dig around a bit myself. Not ready to buy yet, but these in power form would be a great option.

Found the power version with turn signals and heated mirrors...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-03-F250-L...item3f1197674a

That seller also has some power versions for about $215 shipped, but they don't have the turn signals, which aren't a big deal for me on the mirrors.

Thanks for putting the bug in my ear, FordF150Farmer!

Freshmeat, I have been looking at those types of mirrors also, but the heated part is my selling point (because of snow/ice). However, I have noticed that the Item title on some of these will say heated, but down in the description it will say non-heated. Just verify through email what they actually are before/when you buy. The link you show doesn't mention heated at all in the description.

Very good catch! Those eBay sellers will cheat you in a heartbeat. If I go with a loaded mirror it will be for the heat. No snow here, but all it takes is a light frost to block vision.

Nice looking mirror, many I have seen say they don't fit 03 Super Crew, do you know if this one will fit a Super Crew?

Another question, what is the difference between a Super Crew mirror and a super cab or regular cab mirror?
