Fuel Gauge not working

Fuel Gauge not working

My fuel gauge acting up. Its done it for about two years. when its hot out side it works but when its cold outside it is at E with the low fuel light on. any ideas?

This kind of issue is a pain.
The fuel level is an analog signal from the fuel tank level sensor.
The dash looks at the voltage value and converts to digital value in the dash system, for gage drive display.
Could be the level sensor in the tank or even a board fault in the dash.
Since it seems temperature sensitive, look at the dash circuit board first for a crack or connection issue.
