Front drive shaft question.

Front drive shaft question.

Dose our front drive shaft spin at all time? I have a shudder. (u-joints feeling) the rear shaft has new u-joints front shaft is a junkyard shaft so i am thinking it is that.

im pretty sure it doesnt.

but if you want to know for sure put a peice of tape on the driveshaft and axle housing, put it in drive and see if it broke.

not a bad idea.. I want to make sure before i pull it and see if the shudder goes away

Stx8t six. your right it is no supposed to. so i gotta fiqure out why mine dose. was told to check axle disconnect.

check your vacuum actuator on the axle.

did you check the hoses for cracks and deterioration?
