Well anyways. Not that any of you care but Im going to go back to my original post. And paint a red and black candy cane spiral on my drive shaft. I will keep my drawing up though as i am proud of it.

1:It is YOUR truck do what you want as YOU please

2: I dont think its a bad idea, just not as thin maybe a little wider

3: I painted mine solid black, and it was a pain in the ***

4: It might be easier if you took it apart and off the truck to do it, and once you do it if YOU dont like it redo it that is the beauty of sand paper and spray paint.

Thank you boomer for your participation and not making fun of me. I will be taking the drive shaft off and prepping it and all that. Ive got some 3'' masking tape you think 3'' wide stripes will be good?

id do six, but thats just me, 1: it would be easier and 2 i think it will look cleaner

alright cool, Ill try the 3'' first and see how it is. and make them wider if its not looking right.

After seeing the pictures in the link that Boomer2011 posted. I have to wonder why would somebody do that. In all fairness, to each their own, but IMO it looks pretty tacky.

Yea i guess i had to see a pic of it actually done to realize that. Bad idea. Oh well ill move on to something else. Most likely find something else to use the paint for.

i think the red and white is tacky, i have seen an F250 with one that was red and Black wish i could find a picture, it looked good but the whole truck was bad A$$ but like you said to each their own.

just paint it all Red or all Black

it would have been red and black also. I can see it maybe working with a bad *** looking truck. But that is not what i have so it will only look weird
