lighting issue need help please

yes i have 2001 f150 4.6 4x4 and i bought this truck from my brother in law and i need help i went today to go get the truck inspected and it got failed....because when u turn either turn signal on the break lights flash even the third brake light. i just put a new multifunciton switch in the truck and still no luck front turn signals work as they should but when i turn the hazards on the third brake light does not flash im puzzeled and help would be greatly appericated before my timp tags i bought go out thanks.

You lost me about 15 words in. Check the wiring, something isn't right. Maybe they have melted together.

check over your body grounds and harness grounds on the back of the truck.
