power window swap
do you think it is possable to swap power windows out of a 98 f150 xcab xlt to a 98 f150 reg cab XL? is the wire for the windows and locks ran by there own harness or does it tie in to the main ? does any one have a pic of where the door harness plugs in to the main harness or if it does or confirm it part of the main harnes and does not unplug

Just completed the conversion for my 2003 F150, using A1 Electric Power windows. There were no pre-installed wires. I bought wiring harness (2000 F150) with connectors from eBay and used that as a basis for wiring. Still had to add bunch of more wires. I also bought new door panels from eBay; wrapped real leather to armrest and the panel above it.

i pulled the whole harness from the driver door to the plug on the driver kick panel then up behind the dash to the other kick panel then to the left door and i pluged the harnes in to my truck to see if my truck would power the locks but nothing work but i did not have it fully intalled i just had the door lock actuaters on the seats do they ned to be grounded to the door? The door switches on do i have to have it all plugged in. I have power to the main switch Attachment 25426
