testing spark power on COP plugs?

Do any of you guys know a way to test the spark power on a COP plug? The books say that it should throw a blue spark...but how can you see the spark with the plug installed?
Thanks!

You can't do a judgement of spark by sight or resistance measurements.
A dealer has stress test equipment for that use.
What is your issue?

I was trying to diagnose a "sometimes no start" condition. The book said it was either lack of spark power or faulty fuel pump. It was the fuel pump. Up and running now. The book said that the spark should be bright blue. I was trying to figure out how to see the spark with the plugs buried under the COP's.

Quality of spark' in this case' won't prevent starting.
The first thing that has to happen is the anti theft system PATS has to signal the computer to allow starting.
Try a second programmed key at the time you get a no start.
After that, there are a number if things that could prevent starting.
They would have to be looked at one at a time until a fault is found.
Good luck.
