Should look good! Where'd you get it from and how much did you pay for it? If you don't mind me asking.

fiberglass or urethane? watch out for hairline cracks in the fiberglass.

You will probably want to have it painted before you install it

So what's better? Fiberglass or urethane? Street Scene only has fiberglass ones.

I got my SS cowl off Amazon that was cracked in places. I had to do some fiberglass work on mine and the body guy had to do the finishing touches. It looks good on mine.

As far as mounting I had to make my own mounting brackets, nothing too bad.

I know mine is an 05, but here's some candy.

@ Str8t the passengerside needs to be vented for fresh air to enter the cab through the AC system.

@ Cali urethane is heavier, but ships better because its more flexible. But they are hard to find. Fiberglass is strong, but most companys skimp out on material and make it too thin, making it fragile in certain spots.

There's plenty of open area, one being the passenger wiper opening which I had to enlarge to get the cowl on without taking off the hood. The other being the front of the cowl which can't be seen. I have no loss of hvac function.

You wont notice a loss in pressure, you're just straining the blower motor slightly. I notice in my stock truck that #2 or #3 speed setting blows harder at highways speeds (think ram air) then at idle. Im sure your truck you wouldnt have as much a change if any from idle to highway.

I dont think you're about to kill you're blower motor, just pointing out why factory has the vented ice cube design.

With the open areas I have in mine there's no airflow restriction.
