My 01 supercrew 5.4 is turning engine rotates when i try to start but wont start. Just filled gas yesterday and i'm worried the gas is bad. First thing i'd like to press the fuel pump shutoff switch though which should be located behind passenger side front kick panel....and its not there.....was there another location for this in some trucks? Also is there a way to know if the fuel pump is working or not without checking the fuel pressure at the lines?

 

It's there, look a little higher and toward the fire wall. There should be a red button on it.

When you turn the key to the on position you (or someone listening for you) should be able to hear the fuel pump run for a couple of seconds. Listen by the rear wheel on the side you put fuel in.
