Poltergeist SuperCrew Help New To Fords
I have a 2002 F150 Supercrew FX4 Lariat, The truck is all original but we had a heavy rain last night and this morning when I got in it my floormats were holding water. The fan started blowing full speed before I even got into the truck. It was hesitant to crank and when I got it off I heard multiple clicking noises from under the dash, and the heat remained on. My theft light was also blinking. I reached my hand under the dash and it was soaking wet, I have an appointment for someone come replace the windshield friday because it has two small rock pecks in it. Could there be anywhere else that it could be coming from? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, the truck has a sunroof. If someone else has already had this problem I apologize for reposting.

But....suspect that the drain holes in the cowl (under the plastic grid area in front of the windshield ) and inner fender are plugged...especially if this sits outside much.
as to everything wet on the inside....the blinking anti-theft light...not a good sign....really be surprised if it will run....considering the the vast array of electrical under the dash...even if you get it sealed and dry may still present a host of electrical issues for some time to come. The carpet getting wet is the very least of the concern

I haven't had this issue....yet. But from all I have read, the windshield will leak, sending water down to the GEM module behind the fuse box. Check there for wetness and clean/dielectric grease the connector plug
also check the sunroof drain lines, they clog up pretty easy
With those electrical issues going on, I would suspect the GEM is taking on water.
Yeah, leaky windshield. I had that happen where I was hearing this five beeps jazz from the fuse box area and I caught my OHC and fan still running when I came out for morning break at work..new windshield solved that problem.
