trauck stalls

My truck started stalling whenever it feels like it. No reason that I can determine. When it stalls the first thing I notice is the tach drops to zero. If I give it more gas when it starts to stall, it seems to jump back to life. It does this when idling or when I take my foot off the gas to slow down or take a corner. After a little research I cleaned the IAC but that proved fruitless. It doesn't do this very often and always starts right away afterwards. Does anyone have some "trial and error" ideas for me. I'm not reading any codes.

You may have to replace the IAC. It might be a bad TPS or a dirty MAF. No OBD2 codes?
