Angry p0303 help please

Hello all and sorry for the long post,

awhile back my truck started bucking and hesitating under load with no SEL.
I changed my spark plugs and the truck ran fine for awhile with no issues.
Just today driving to work this morning the ole truck started missing out on the highway and as soon as i got to work the SEL lite up. Read the code and pulled a p0303 out of it for cyl. 3 misfire.

The plugs have less than 2000 miles on them (autolite platinum)

When I got home I pulled the wires off the coil pack with the
truck running. The only one that didnt have the spark jumping from the
coil pack to the wire was cyl. #3 ? Can anyone help me out here ?

Do i need to try replacing all the spark plugs wires, swamping out suspected wire with a different cylinder or when its dark tonight let the truck run with the hood open to see if i can see a light show from the plug wires ?

Thanks for the help in advance !

misfire

Most likely the coil needs to be replaced. Swap it with another coil, and see what you get. Ern

Most likely the coil....or possibly the spark plug...

Here are some possible casues.

Possible Causes:

Fuel injectors, related wiring, sensors and computer issues

Running out of gas, or poor fuel quality

Evaporative emissions system (EVAP) concerns: fuel vapors leaking into engine

Incorrect Fuel Pressure

EGR system concerns: leaking EGR valve or restricted ports

Base engine concerns: low compression, valve train problems and timing issues

Ignition system concerns including, but not limited to:

Faulty spark plugs

Faulty coil or related wiring

Ignition module or related wiring issues

Ignition related sensor faults or wiring issues

Faulty oxygen sensor(s)

Burned exhaust valve

Faulty catalytic converter

Poor compression

Defective computer

quick update: I replaced my coil pack tonight after getting no spark from the number 3 tower. Found a crack in the ceramic on the bottom of the old coil pack directly underneath the number 3 tower.
