running 33s?
Guys i plan on gettin new tires here soon,
id like to run 33s but maybe it be safer running 32's so i have room to flex and stuff i was thinking..
Id like to have em poke out a little but just past the fender flare
so im going to have to get new rims, but i dont know what off set, back spacing i need..so thats why im asking you guys!

We need to know more about the truck. What year, 2wd or 4wd, does it have any lift? If you have a 4wd, then you can crank up the torsion bars in the front to level it and fit 33s. For the wheels, if you want them to stick out a little bit then go with around 5" or 5.5" of backspace.
okay, shes 99 f150 4x4 no lift,
if i run 33's will i have clearance to flex in stuff, im not talkin about like FLEXX but just a Little lol i really dont wanna deal with rubbing, but i was think about taking off the front bumper and get a prerunner thing goin on with a skid plate
i wasnt sure i talk to a guy a tire kingdom and he said get a low off set like 0, whats the difference between back spacing and off set? and will 17x9 be okay for 33s or 32s? or should i go 16's

Yea you can clear them fine, crank the torsions some and you could stuff 35's under there if you want. And a pre-runner bumper will only give you some more clearance in front of the tire, you still have to worry about it bumping out into the back of the fender, but since you 4x4 as long as you don't try to do some rock crawling you'll be good.

WELL I DONT HAVE ANY PICS UP AT THE MOMENT BUT I GOT SOME 33" TOYO MT'S ON MY 2010 4X4 WITH JUST A 1.5" AS LEVEL KIT AND SOME 1.5 INCH TALLER BLOCKS IN THE REAR AND I HAD A TON OF CLEARANCE. I HAVE THEM ON 18x9 XD MONSTERS WITH A +18 OFFSET AND THEY STICK OUT ABOUT AN INCH FROM THE STOCK BODY. NO FENDER FLARES AND SUCH. PERFECT LOOK FOR ME. I COULD GO UP TO 34" NITTO'S AND STILL HAVE PLENTY OF CLEARANCE. THE 33'S WERE ONLY ABOUT 1 INCH AT BEST TALLER THEN MY STOCK TIRES. JUST A GOOD BIT WIDER.
i think a 10" wide rim with a 12.5" tire will set you where you want. i doubt anything skinnier will have the offset to put the tire out to the edge.
these are some really old pics of my 16x10's with 305's. i just checked and i think it was -24 on the offset. never had any real problems with rubbing
