Truck wont start!!

Hey guys, my truck won't start. It started fine about an hour ago. Just backed it up to a trailer and backed up the driveway. Shut it off and it will not start. It's never not started before. Had a tune up about 1-2 years ago. Same with a new battery. It's trying to start but just won't crank. Not sure what the hell it could be. We don't know anyone up here that can just stop by and look at it.

Do you have any power at all? Are your gauges sweeping all the way forward then back when you turn ignition on? What kind of battery is it?

The 4 small guages on the side rise up slightly but the speedo and rpm guages don't. The battery is a duralast goldtop

It's trying to start but just won't crank.
Possible terminology confusion - please be more specific. Does the starter turn the engine over? If so, does it turn over at normal speed or is it real slow?

The button is pushed in all the way. When I turn the key on there is no clicking or humming sound coming from the fuel pump. And all fuses are good.

The fuel pump should prime with the key in the key on engine off position.

Turn the key to run. Crawl under with hammer. Smack the tank fairly hard, right in the center. You should hear the pump charge the lines.

Also, the pump relay might be toast. Turn the key to run and feel the relay by hand. If it's bad , it will usually be warm to hot. If in question , swap relay.

These engines will not start after a 4+ second crank. The PCM shuts the injectors down.

Always make sure your battery is at least @ 11.8V. Things get goofy @ 11.6V. Also, if the lines and injectors were run dry, - you'll have to bleed the rail at least one time before your able to purge all air. They won't usually prime on their own the first time after starved. It can really suck if you don't know that lol.
