I am hoping to do a lift on my truck this coming spring. In anticipation, I am starting to do research on different lifts and doing some shopping around.

I was looking on ebay at a Rough Country 5" lift for 97-03 4x4 and one of them said that the lift would not work on a Regular cab with the 5.4L. Is this correct? After seeing this, I went to RC's website and they say nothing about not working on a truck like mine.

Has anybody out there with a regular cab 5.4L installed this lift? Or another one that they would recommend?

I have the RCD 5" which is a little more expensive than the Rough Country, but you get Bilstein 5100 Shocks and the rear lift is from an add-a-leaf instead of stacking blocks. Their website shows the lift installed on a truck identical to yours http://www.racecardynamics.com/produ...4wd150full.htm. The only difference is dependent on which transmission you have, the 4R70W or E4OD, not engine. I purchased mine from ntwonline.com
