I do dig my little 230. I rode 650's (NX650 & XR650) since I was 15 and I miss the power, but the 230 is more fun since its so easy to toss around.

Yeah I agree, the 230 is just perfect. Granted it was my first bike, but I'm going to keep this thing forever. So low maintenance and tons of fun. An oil change is 8 bucks and takes 10 mins!

My buddies with the 450 liquids keep complaining about boiling over and needing to keep the speed up for enough cooling. This 230 does a great job for having some fun on the trails and good reliability.

Yup. What's your point?

BTW, I have been riding since I was 9 and I have had more bikes than I can count. I currently own 7. 3 street and 4 dirt. I don't ride the 230 because I don't know any better, I ride it because it's just plain fun! Same with my old 82 CX500 TURBO bike. Only 87 horses, but it is a blast to ride at 19 PSI!

Thanks! That was a great day, they closed the mountain just after we went up so there was nobody up there and we had a blast making our own roads.
