03 fx4 suer crew vibrating
I am feeling a vibration coming from the drivers side floorboard and steering wheel that is getting real annoying. I put new tires on the back and had the front ones balanced and aligned. i am still getting the vibration. can anyone give me a hint as to what i might do next? is there a connection between the truck bed and the transmission that may be bad and causing the vibration? i am shooting at straws. shocks?
A lot of sources can be the cause.
Front drive shaft yoke could be dry in the splines and worn loose allowing the drive shaft to vibrate.
Drive shaft cross joints.
Check both front 'bearing packs' for looseness. Disc/wheel moves independent of the spindle.
Check for brake fault.
These can be hard to pin down.
Good luck.

The truck only vibrates when I am driving at all speeds. the vibration feels like a vibrator (for lack of better words) and is not bad enough to be bouncing me around. also noted that when the vehicle is cold in the morning, the vibrations usually does not start for a couple of minutes.
