@twlightning your tire size probably killed 99% of your mileage the body lift maybe killed 1%
Your correct, although I’m sure the extra wind resistance has a little more than one percent but I get what you’re saying even though the tires are only 1" bigger than factory. I just wanted to put all the cards out on the table of what to expect from the things that come with a body lift or any lift for that matter. You’re not going to leave stock tires on a lifted truck. I have had the truck for 7 years and its had this set-up for the last 4. I got to say I miss the usability of the factory truck. I think twice about road trips now where I need the truck. That’s just my two cents. Before you start your lift, look to how you will want to use the truck in the future. Ultimately I love a big lifted truck , but unless you have tons of money or it’s just an extra truck it’s not worth the hassle.
@twlightning-ok 2% for wind resistance You have an interesting take on lifts though. I would say just level and be happy with that if you are keeping stock size tires or close to stock size.
Twlightning, I find my truck just as functional now that it's lifted as it was when it was stock. It still has a bed and it still has a hitch! Sure on the highway I've lost a few mpg's, but if I was worried about that then I'd go buy a Prius.
