About done installing Roll Bar

Finally had time to cut and fit the roll bar. I was hoping it would look a little different than it does, but I'm still going to mount it. Might as well for what I paid for it.

It's not welded together yet, I just had them touching so I would get an idea and post pics. I'll try to angle it a litte more to the front to make up for that gab between the cab and bed/roll bar.

Pics give a good idea though how it will look.

Enjoy.

Feel free to post posetive/negative comments. They are all good in my book

$100 for everything(bars and lights)

Still figuring out how to mount the rear section as where it ends there really isn't a good place to mount it.

Looking forward to getting it done though.

Your saying add washers to give it more of an agle right?

I'm debating on cutting the back 4 bars off and extending them further back and re-create the angel they are coming of the loops now. Doubt I'll do it, but it's a thought.

Great job. There is a place in Ocala, FL that is still making nice roll bars. Google roll bars and Ocala and Gainesville, FL. You can get some great ideas by checking out their work. They are old school and all quality. If I didn't have a Aere bed cap I would definitely buy one of their bars.

Looks good but like everyone else is suggesting angle it so it looks better. Is it mounted to the floor or the wheel wells?

Anymore info on this place? A google search came up with nothing for me.

The front will be mounted on the floor. The rear bars were ment to be mounted on the wheel wells. Since it originally came out of a Ram2500 and a full size bed, it will not meet up with the wheel wells.

What I will probably end up doing is cuttin the rear brackets off, then getting some 3" tubing and extending the bars in the back so they can be mounted on the bed as well.

I have limited time so I haven't finished welding the middle section, but it's coming along.

Should look good after getting new paint and getting the welds grounded down.

I think it would look better if it was a single tube rollbar but I realize it is what it is and you got a great price on it. I would remove the lights on it if it were me for a smoother look.

I've been debaing on building a rotating/flip bracket that is stable so that I can aim them to the cab or flip them under the rear roll bar. That way when I wanna park in the garage I can or will give it the smooth look your talking about .....those light come in handy though when driving on those back raods late night or early mornings.
